What you Missed - ending May 13

Spring made itself known last week. Daffodils finally showed their buds and even bloomed. Mounds of snow laden with sand, finally melted leaving mini beaches along the roadside edge even though Mt. Sunapee is reluctant to release the last of winter's snow. Dr

ive down 103B in Newbury or S. Pleasant St. in New London to catch a glimpse of the remaining white! The spring real estate market is evident and with the beautiful weather, sun worshippers are getting started on their lakeside tans. Ice Cream stores are shelling out the season's first scoops and farm stands are helping gardeners ready their plantings! Last week Colby-Sawyer graduated it's 2018 class and Kearsarge Regional High School held its prom at Mt. Sunapee with a pre-photo op at the Lake Sunapee Country Club. Summer is showing signs of emerging - even PC's siding is going up with hope to be open this upcoming summer.
